Explain Your Job To Your Doctor

Most doctors know nothing of hard work or your job. You need to explain to your doctor the physical requirements of your job:  the lifting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, walking, etc.

Make sure you take the time to explain to your doctor your job requirements.  Your doctor needs to know how far you need to recover in order for you to resume your career.

Let’s face it – nothing is more important than your health. If is not going to help you if you are sent back to work and re-injure yourself because you tried to work beyond your work injury limitations.  The last thing you want to be is a danger to yourself and others.

That being said, your number one goal is to get back to work.  You will almost always recover much more money returning to work than in a workers’ compensation settlement or award.
